Back to work today and it sure was a shock to the system! Don’t get me wrong- I do love my school holidays however sometimes they are more harm than good. You get into a routine and then BAM it’s the holidays and you get the luxury of lie ins and mid week drinking (No I’m not an alcoholic...yet!). As lovely as this is when you go back to work it’s a right come down. I promised I’d start having early nights and early mornings to get back into the routine and then as always more interesting things got in the way and I couldn’t sleep last night. Well. I paid for it today- exhausted now and made even worse by the constant amount of work. I think it’s time I should try working to live not living to work. On that note... I will end my ramblings early as shattered and will no doubt find nothing else interesting to go on about. I will leave you with a quote from one of my class today:
“My favourite shape is a circle...because...because...err... it’s the shape of a head.”

Bless him- how sweet. It got me thinking though...What is my favourite shape? It’s the first time a kid has ever asked it. Threw me a little hahah! That’s not hard to do when you work with kids.
My favourite shape is what my class call ‘a love heart’ because it represents an important part of life...love! Also, of course it keeps us alive which is pretty special too!
