* Why are there so many wasps this early?
* I don't like how they are dive-bombing about ALL the time :-(
* I love the sunshine at the moment.
* I think I will 'work' in the garden today but hope the wasps take a break.
* I must dig out some sun lotion or I will turn red.
* I can't wait for my day trip with Miss Faux Fur on Friday.
* I must get road trip appropriate food.
* Oh, I also need to figure out which way to drive so I don't get lost.
* I would like a new dress to go with the sunny weather.
* Where do wasps go at night time? Do they sleep?
Is it this type of W.A.S.P: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Anglo-Saxon_Protestant?
ReplyDeleteBecause I am pretty sure they sleep.
I love all your talk about cats, dogs, spiders, and wasps! It's entertaining and delightful, really.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the gardening, and I appreciate your recent kind words regarding my "First Book" post!
Newly following via GFC!
Baby Talk without the Babble
@ El Grande- Not quite the wasp I was thinking about but definitly some good facts there!! ( I actually read the 1st couple sentences wondering why it was talking about that in relation to buzzing flying wasps?)
ReplyDelete@Gillian- My blog usually doesn't have such a wildlife theme haha!! It seems the sun is coaxing them all out and apparently they think they should hang about me!
Happy "Get Wired Wednesday"! I'm following you now thru the blog hop and hope that you'll follow me back. Have a fantastic day!!

Wasps do sleep but they tend to linger a bit after sunset. There must be nests close by for them to dive-bomb you; that's usually a defensive tactic in bug world.
ReplyDeleteHere in NY the dreaded, annoying, yuckky May Flies are out. It's impossible to do anything outside without getting buzzed by these little gnats that end up in your eyes, up your nose...everywhere.
Try and enjoy the day!
Patty
I would be happy with some sunshine and warm temperatures!
ReplyDelete@Patty-For some reason wasps are taking over this year so there must be lots of nests :-( The gnats sound awful...up your nose?! Argh!! Yucky indeed!!
ReplyDelete@Ross- I would send some sun your way except that it seems to have been replaced with dullness and heat. I hate boring weather like this!!
