You may not believe what I am about to say but it is sunny in England!! Yes- we have sun and warm weather. Those who are used to hot weather would probably not be bothered by the sun but I am. It's a rare occasion that I get to sit in the sun while working. The sun can turn frowns upside down, it makes things look beautiful and shiny.
On this note I am going to leave you with a favourite song of mine for days like this..
Happy Sunny Sunday!
Check out the blue sky!!! |
Visiting from Comment Love Sunday. The thumbnail pic you chose caught my eye. I love those books! My first job was at Arby's (fast food) and the "Adventure Meal" featured these characters. They have a special place in my heart :D
ReplyDeleteThe video didn't come through on my phone. What's the song?

I. Am. Jealous. I'm sitting under grey, cloudy skies, fighting off the ick mood. Its Sunday, and that always means tomorrow's Monday. And Monday means work...blegh...
ReplyDeleteSoak up some sun for me too, please!
Thanks for stopping by.....teachers are cool.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunny Sunday! Mwah!

ReplyDeleteI'm from Liverpool and enjoyed an absolutely glorious weekend. We celebrated our sunshine with a BBQ and a trip to the beach :)

@ Jen- It's The Kinks, Sunny Afternoon. A classic!
ReplyDelete@Sparrow- Don't feel too jealous, back to normal today with arin and a hail shower haha!
@Laura- yep, rain here today as per usual. I could smell a few BBQ's when I got home late Friday. Everyone is making the most of it!
Is the weather usually that bad? Does it ever snow?
ReplyDeleteIt snows, but it seems to be getting worse every year! The weather here is very season like. Like, you get warm summer, cold winters, mild spring and dull autumn. Unlike some places they are all so distinct which I quite loke, although I would love it if we could just have a bit more heat! It's gone back to 1C tonight and it's too cold after the lovely warm sun yesterday :-(
