They are just a few. However, I unwittingly discovered another today whilst browsing images for my class lesson on fruit felt collage. I absentmindedly typed 'fruit art' into google images and what came up scared me. It made me feel slightly sick and I couldn't really look at it. Here are some of the images I was confronted with (I hate these being on my blog but I feel I need to share the crazy world of 'fruit art').

Okay, so before your post I had no idea what "fruit art" was but add it to the list of things I'm scared of! Somethings are not meant to be made into art, fruit is definitely one of them. Although, I don't mind "edible arrangements" - those are pretty.
One weird and unexplainable fear are honey combs. It's not just the fact that they are associated with bees, but the look of them make me shiver. Even thinking about them now makes me shiver! :)

You really can't see what's freaky about the 'fruit art'? Just the way it all has holes and is carved to look like real things. The fruit man...well he doesn't even have a body, just a sheet and fruit head with a glass of wine. How would he even drink that?!
@Sejal- I can see why you don't particularly like honey combs however they don't bother me too much. Maybe in real life it may be different as there would also be bees!
@Sharad- Unfortunately I don't think anyone IS meant to eat them!
Oh yes, of course I understand. Fruit is soooo scary. I will have nightmares tonight. Thank you for showing me these images. How ever will I live a normal life again??? You have damaged me for the entirety of my adult life.

He didn't dream stalk me either... although I DID have a bad nights sleep. Personally I think the two are linked.You're right...that does sound like an order haha!! Imagine if an ACTUAL fruit man turned up?! Ok...I'm tired and elaborating to a ridiculous amount.
If an actual fruit man showed up you'd be very scared and I'd be busy ignoring him and stuffing my face with something made out of meat.
Hahaha! I'd be more than scared...I'd be gone before you know it, leaving you to feast on meat with fruit man.I don't know if he'd eat it though. He may just watch and chat since all normal people would run away from him.

That is very true...and very thoughtful! I now feel a bit sorry for Fruit Man. I think he needs a fruit friend too- someone who understands his struggles.
A fruit WOMAN!!! And together they can have little fruit babies and together they will live happily even though the world despises their fruit related monstrosity.
